You will have received a confirmation from the Lehrraumvergabe for your exam and a virtual exam room (= ILIAS exam course) will have been set up by the ILIAS team.
Please only use your exam course for the times confirmed by the Lehrraumvergabe. Do not change the availability as this can overload the system and cause another exam to be cut off. If you need to change or extend your exam slot, please contact the Lehrraumvergabe first.
Please note: If the exam time has changed and the Lehrraumvergabe has confirmed the new time, you must change the availability in the following places:
- Directly in the course- In the test object- In the exercise object
To ensure that the exam course is available at the planned time, you will need to tick the box „Online“ under the tab „Settings“ – „Availability“ and then „Save“. It is very important that you make sure the date and time correspond to the time slot you were allocated by the Lehrraumvergabe.
The ILIAS exam course „Take Home Exam“ consists of two objects.
Both objects need to be set up so that the exam can run successfully:
1. The ILIAS Test Object
Contains the declaration of independent work as well as the declaration before upload, which exam candidates accept here.
2. The ILIAS Exercise Object
Is only visible for candidates once the declaration of independent work and the declaration beforeupload have been accepted. These preconditions have been included in your exam course in coordination with the legal department and must not be changed by you.
Here- You can make your exam documents
available for exam candidates- Candidates will download the documents- Candidates will then upload their
answers/solutions.
4
Additionally your exam course contains:
- the folder „Anleitungen Take Home Exam“ (The guide for lecturers is only visible for course administrators)
- the folder „Rechtliche Informationen für Prüfungsteilnehmer*innen“ (legal information for exam candidates)
Please send both the guide for students and legal information to your exam candidates in good time before the exam! Please note that there is no e-mail functionality in the exams ILIAS
