Proceeds benefit the Amana Fire Department! Chainsaw Artist: 11am-4pm Andy Klindt is an Iowa artisan specializing in chainsaw sculpture and metal design. Andy will be crafting and selling original pieces. Ice fishing: 11am-2pm Throw your line over the ice wall for a prize! Fun for kids of all ages. Log Sawing Competition: 11am-2pm Teams of two can compete using an old-fashioned cross-cut saw, or try it just for fun! Winners announced at 2:30pm. Sponsored by the Amana Forestry Department. The Great Amana Ham-Put: 11am-2pm See how far you can fling a ham in this shot-put style event! Winners announced at 2:30pm after the best beard competition. Sponsored by the Amana Meat Shop. Porkchop SlapShot: 11am-2pm Give it your best shot and sink a pork chop into the net. Sponsored by the Amana Meat Shop. Wreath Toss: 11am-2pm Ring a Christmas wreath around a cone to win a prize! Winners announced at 2:30pm. Sponsored by the Amana Meat Shop. Ice Cube Launch: 11am-2pm Take an ice cube, put it in your month and launch it as far as you can. The ice cube that goes the furthest wins the prize. Best Beard Competition: 2pm Competitors are invited to show off their beards & compete for prizes. Categories are fullest, most unique, and best overall. Eisbahn Ice Rink: 2– 4pm Bring your own skates or slide on your shoes on the Amana Eisbahn Ice Rink between 11am and 4pm weather permitting. Free. Mush: 2pm Two person teams can compete in a timed sled race. One sits on the sled while the other pulls it to the finish line. The fastest time wins the prize. Adults and Kids divisions.
