A global icon
Battersea Power Station is one of central London’s largest, most visionary and eagerly anticipated regeneration projects. It will see a vast 42-acre former industrial brownfield site on the banks of the River Thames, which had been derelict for 30 years, transformed into a new town centre for London.
Built in the 1930s, and designed by one of Britain’s best 20th century architects, Battersea Power Station is one of London’s most loved and recognisable landmarks. Shortly after its completion and commissioning it was described by the Observer newspaper as ‘One of the finest sights in London’.
The development that is now underway at Battersea Power Station will transform this great industrial monument into the centrepiece of London’s greatest destination. The regeneration will deliver new state-of-the-art office space, thousands of new homes, hundreds of restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, a hotel, new cultural venues and over 18-acres of public space.

Battersea Power Station has been envisaged as a complete place, that offers the fullest range of experiences to the people that live, work and visit there. It has taken best-practice and thinking from around the world to develop a vision that will deliver a creative place as authentic as the Power Station itself.

Battersea Power Station is London’s newest destination with many unique open spaces for companies, brands, communities, groups and individuals to host and stage a multitude of exciting and engaging events and occasions. The spaces at Battersea Power Station cater for a wide variety of experiences – photographic and film shoots with fantastic views of the Thames and London’s skyline; outdoor experiential, live concerts and cultural performances on the riverside piazza; business meetings in our many indoor spaces and fantastic parties hosted in large railway arches, penthouses or private dining rooms; and many more.
It’s so quick and easy to get to our open spaces from all across the city. MBNA Thames Clippers regularly arrive at our very own pier. Queenstown Road and Battersea Park rail stations and Battersea Park are within a five-minute walk. Our free ‘Power’ shuttle buses collect and drop-off visitors at Sloane Square, Vauxhall and London Victoria. Arrive by cycle with the benefit of a large Santander Cycles docking station at our riverside entrance. Arriving by car use the drop-off point at the entrance off Sopwith Way, just off Chelsea Bridge Road, and metered parking is available in Battersea Park and Chelsea Bridge Wharf.

Circus West Village is the first phase of the wider 42 acre Battersea Power Station development and comprises a collection of over 20 independent restaurants, bars and shops. Circus West Village’s inside event spaces range from a large railway arch to host fantastic parties and product launches for 100s of guests to private dining rooms catering for 10, include a purpose-built auditorium great for business meetings and theatrical performances, and river view penthouses. Our spaces are varied, some fully furnished and others blank canvases, to cater for your exact needs.
A number of different outdoor spaces allow brands to create awesome riverside experiences and actively engage with their targeted audiences. Each space is adjacent to the river and Battersea Power Station’s iconic chimneys.

Our chimneys are obviously a true London landmark and have appeared in many significant cultural moments such as Pink Floyd’s famous ‘Animals’ album cover and music videos for The Jam, Texas and Take That.

Our riverside piazza is a really exciting space. Fronted by the river Thames, with our iconic chimneys as a backdrop, the piazza provides both large and intimate open spaces allowing brands to actively engage with our community of residents, visitors, workers and passers-by in many different ways.
The piazza is fronted by the river, beautifully landscaped and includes art installations and a number of event spaces. At its edges are the finest restaurants and bars.
The piazza has four distinct event spaces, however when taken and used as a whole this allows brands to exclusively activate the whole site with different event spaces and branding opportunities at your disposal.
The piazza is available to hire by day or by week, in part or as a whole.

The open-air Viewing Platform has commanding views over both the piazza and the Battersea Power Station construction site. The 7m x 3m
deck is accessed by a long ramp and is raised 3m above the piazza. Any activity at the Viewing
Platform becomes a central focus for the piazza, framed by the iconic chimneys. Using
the platform whilst branding all the surrounding hoardings and walls creates a dominating and
impressive brand presence.

The Kiosk is a secure, covered retail unit facing the main thoroughfare of the piazza. The Kiosk includes a serving hatch and storage. The fascia of the Kiosk is brandable, making an immediate and impactful presence on the piazza. There is also a performance space in front of the kiosk.

Battersea Power Station’s own pier is a fantastic gateway to London’s greatest development. MBNA Thames Clippers RB1, RB2 and RB6 river services stop at the pier every 30 minutes. It’s never been easier to get into central London from Battersea Power Station — hop on board and be at Embankment within 15 mins, Blackfriars within 20 mins and Canary Wharf within 40 mins.
Private charters are also able to drop and collect guests at the pier. The river-side glass walled waiting room may be used as a unique activation or entertaining space.

Grosvenor Arch is the entrance through which cyclists and pedestrians access our community as well as those dropped by car or taxi. It is a 50m long railway arch between Chelsea Bridge Road and Battersea Power Station, underneath the tracks to London Victoria.
The arch is our front door and contains a number of great event opportunities. A perfect space for activations and entertaining. The performance spaces and purpose built pop-up retail spaces are the three undercover activation spaces passed by pedestrians and cyclists alike.

The Grosvenor Arch entrance houses seven permanent pop-up spaces with a number of different configurations available, and sizes from 20m2 to 120m2. The largest is Pop-Up 1 which is currently laid out as a working space and Pop-Ups 2 -7 may be used individually or

The Village Hall, a new community arts and cultural venue, is a purpose built theatre that incorporates a dance studio, a mezzanine hospitality

The Village Hall
Arches Lane is the entrance to the Village Hall and its large reception area, which leads through to the studio space (which may also be used for a temporary kitchen) and the theatre.
The theatre has a 25m2 storage space which may be used as a temporary kitchen. A mezzanine level provides private meeting and hospitality space (with disabled access).

Battersea Power Station prides itself on the quality of our open spaces, communities, visitors and retailers. We are a vibrant riverside location with fantastic restaurants, bars, shopping and spaces for meetings and events. We are also a residential environment so we always consider our residents when planning events
Battersea Power Station will allocate an experienced Event Manager to support all events and activations
We welcome enquiries from our local community and will endeavour to make our spaces as accessible as possible to local groups (e.g. exercise classes, playgroups, cultural and theatrical uses)
Requirements All event installations, designs and activity are subject to Battersea Power Station approval and must align to our brand values
Filming and photography is allowed on-site but a permit must be requested from your Event Manager. Battersea Power Station own the image rights to the iconic chimneys. The end use of any images must be detailed at the time of request
All rates are dry hire only exclude VAT
Please discuss exclusive use of our outside event spaces with your Event Manager
Services Site wide WiFi is available
A wide range of branding opportunities can be used; including a Piazza take-over using the site hoarding
No drones are allowed as unfortunately our peregrine falcons regards them as prey
A service fee will be charged for power, water and cleaning (depending on event specification)
ConditionsA minimum of £10 million Public Liability Insurance and £10m Employers Liability Insurance is required for all activity on site. This may increase depending on scale of the proposed activity
RAMS are to be presented 14 days before the start of tenancy for approval
All stand material must be fire rated BS class 0 or 1 or EU equivalent
Any activity must always be manned during the day, and secured overnight
Battersea Power Station cannot accept any liability for events and activations
Events may require Chapter 8 barriers, car parking, power, cleaning and security from Battersea Power Station preferred suppliers and the services of H&S and Noise Consultants
BPS will require a damage deposit for each event, refundable after the event if no damage was incurred
Penthouse and apartment events do not allow red wine and stiletto heels, and require event security
Sampling in high footfall areas is approved on a bespoke basis. A maximum of 2 staff per location. Site cleaners are to be booked to ensure all rubbish is removed from site at the end of each day
All events will require a site visit and meeting with Battersea Power Station Event Manager
PPE must be worn by install and de-rig teams
