• One of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) globally - Responsible for distributing IP addresses and AS Numbers

- According to policies set by the RIPE community

• Maintaining the RIPE Database (whois) - Public information about the holders of IP addresses and AS Numbers

• What we heard - Data, statistics and analysis at the country and regional level are valuable for

public policy makers

- The RIPE NCC data and analysis needs to be presented in a format that can be easily used and understood

• Outcome - The RIPE NCC will publish a Country Report on Saudi Arabia this week

- At this Roundtable we will present the information from this report

- Based on feedback, we will develop further Country Reports in 2019

- Goal: facilitate greater government engagement with RIPE Policy Development Process
