Effective opening statements are a key advocacy tool in arbitration. The opening statement offers a strategic opportunity to establish the context within which the arbitrator should consider the evidence about to be produced.

During this program, an experienced AAA® Arbitrator and two skilled professionals will examine the framework of a good opening statement from their perspectives, using case scenarios and other current materials.

The speakers will also address:

• Should you defer your opening statement?

• Discipline vs. contract cases: Is there a significant difference when it comes to opening statements?
