Provenance: The piano was owned by the noble family Thun-Hohenstein. The last owner was Josef Osvald III. Thun-Hohenstein (1879-1842), who died in 1942 at his castle in Klášterec nad Ohří. After the Second World War the castle was nationalized and the piano moved to the National Museum collection in Prague, Provenance provided by the Czech Museum of Music Period 1933 - 1945: Note that this piano has incomplete provenance for the years 1933-45.
