Operations Management Internship Overview

Ashley Furniture, the world’s largest manufacturer of furniture, is seeking motivated individuals to join the Ashley team for an Operations Management Internship. Ashley offers state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, machines, and products that allow us to meet the evolving needs of our customers with passion, precision, and speed.

During the internship, you will develop a hands-on understanding of the management process and perform essential functions of supervision throughout all departments. Department competencies include Product Engineering, Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Fabrication, Quality, Assembly, & Packaging.

Program Requirements • Full-time student with an Operations

Management / Materials Emphasis

• GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Detail-oriented

• Knowledge of manufacturing environment

is a plus

• Internship Dates: June–August with opportunity

for additional hours during school semester

• Schedule to be determined at time of offer
