Ophthalmoskope – Der tiefe Blick ins AugeBis Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts waren die diagnostischen Möglichkeiten des Augenarztes sehr eingeschränkt. Die Erfindung des Augenspiegels 1850 durch Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz (1821–1894) gilt als Geburtsjahr des ophthalmologischen Gerätebaues und als Beginn der modernen Augen-heilkunde. Das Prinzip seiner Erfindung: Mittels eines Spiegels wird Licht in das Auge geworfen, das reflektiert durch ein Loch im Spiegel in das Auge des Untersuchers gelangt.

Heute haben moderne Ophthalmoskope eine ausgereifte Linsen-Optik im Innern des Gerätekopfes und eine leistungsfähige Energiequelle im Griff des Instrumentes. Starke Halogen- oder Vakuum-Lampen ersetzen das klassische Prinzip Licht und Spiegel.

Die Untersuchung des Augenhintergrundes gehört zu den Standard methoden der Ophthalmologen. Aber auch Anästhesisten, Chirurgen, Neurologen, Notfall-mediziner und Rettungssanitäter vertrauen auf die direkte Ophthalmoskopie.

Ophthalmoskope von KaWe überzeugen durch ihre präzise und schatten freie Ausleuchtung des Augenhintergrundes. Anhand der einzigartigen Techno- logie – dem großen Öffnungswinkel der Beleuchtungsoptik – er öff net sich dem Untersucher auf nähere Distanz ein größeres Untersuchungsfeld.

Die Ophthalmoskop-Köpfe der KaWe EUROLIGHT®- und KaWe PICCOLIGHT®-Familien verfügen über eine, fünf oder sechs Blenden, die Griffe können mit Batterien, die KaWe EUROLIGHT®-Serie auch wahlweise mit aufladbaren Akkus betrieben werden. So können Sie sich Ihr Diagnostik-Set ganz nach den eigenen Wünschen zusammenstellen.

Ophthalmoscopes – An in-depth look at the eyeUntil the end of the 19th century, the diagnostic options for eye specialists were very limited. The invention of the ophthalmoscope in 1850 by Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz (1821-1894) is considered to mark the birth of ophthalmological equipment production and the beginning of modern eye medicine. The principle of his invention: light is directed at the eye by means of a mirror light which contains a hole allowing the light to reflect back to the eye of the examiner.

Today, modern ophthalmoscopes have fully developed lens optics on the inside of the instrument head and an efficient energy source in the handle of the instrument. Strong halogen or vacuum lamps have replaced the classical principle of the light and mirror.

The examination of the fundus of the eye is a standard procedure for eye specialists. Anaesthesiologists, surgeons, neurologists, emergency doctors and rescue medics also rely on direct ophthalmoscopy.

KaWe ophthalmoscopes prove themselves through their precise and shadow-free illumination of the fundus of the eye. With this unique technology - the wide aperture angle of the illumination optics - the examiner is able to see a large area while at a very close proximity to the subject.

The ophthalmoscope heads of the KaWe EUROLIGHT®- and KaWe PICCOLIGHT®- families have one, five or six apertures. The handles hold either KaWe EUROLIGHT® series batteries or rechargeable batteries. Your own individual diagnostic set can be assembled entirely as you would like to have it.

KaWe EUROLIGHT® und KaWe PICCOLIGHT® überzeugen nicht nur durch ihre kompakte und ansprechende Bauweise, sondern vor allem durch ihre ausgeklügelte und hoch entwickelte optische Technik im Innern des jeweiligen Linsenkopfes. So sorgen in allen Varianten der KaWe 6-Blenden Ophthalmoskope 21 sorgfältig aufeinander abgestimmte Linsen für eine optimale Bündelung des Lichtstrahls. Wobei der Sehwinkel der Beleuchtung +/- 7° beträgt und damit einen groß ausgeleuchteten und schattenfreien Bereich auf der Netzhaut garantiert. Ob Sie sich für ein Gerät mit einer, fünf oder mit sechs Blenden entscheiden, die langlebige Halogen-/ Vakuum-Lampe bringt immer ein extrem helles Licht mit einer guten Farbwiedergabe.

KaWe EUROLIGHT® and KaWe PICCOLIGHT® prove themselves not only with their compact and appealing design, but also with their sophisticated and highly developed optical technology inside of the respective lens head. Thus, in all variants of the KaWe 6-diaphragm ophthalmoscopes, 21 accurately harmonised lenses enable an optimal focussing of the light beam. Thereby, the angle of vision of the illumination is +/- 7° and thus ensuring a large illumination field and a shadeless examination area on the retina. Regardless of whether you choose a unit with one or with six diaphragms, the long-lasting halogen-/vacuum incandescent lamp always ensures an extremely bright light with a good colour reproduction.
