CBM PRAYERLINE

GLOBAL CBM is excited to see several Field Staff in Canada this summer on home assignment, and in the month of May we welcome Emad and Almess Botros & Elie and Mireille Haddad from Lebanon, as well as Andre Sibomana from Rwanda. Please pray for their travels and their schedules, as they juggle academic responsibilities, along with church visitations and reporting, and other obligations. Pray for their ministries in their respective countries and for their colleagues as well, as their work re-mains ongoing while they continue their im-portant visits in Canada, sharing about what God is doing in these countries and the ways in which Canadian Baptists can be involved in it!

CANADA In Western Canada, please pray for the up-coming Assembly ("The Gathering 2017") which will be held in Calgary, AB on May 25-27. As an opportunity to gather as Canadian Baptists, please pray for all those attending, and for speakers Gary Nelson, President of Tyndale University, and Sam Breakey, the CBWC’s Church Health and Renewal Strate-gist, as they speak on creating stronger tomor-rows through health and renewal. Dean-na Storfie will re-envision the story of William Carey, and there will be time of discussion and refreshment as well.

BOLIVIA Please pray for the Praxis team from across

Atlantic Canada, who left for a mission trip on

Wednesday May 3 to Bolivia, being hosted by

CBM's partner, the Bolivian Baptist Union. Four

students from our denominational seminaries,

along with Dr. Lois Mitchell, the professor of

record, will have the opportunity to study, re-

flect, and see practical examples of integral

mission being implemented through the local

church. Pray for their travels, health and safe-

ty, learning opportunities, and challenges to-

wards growth in their personal and professional

lives, and for effective relationships and bonds

to be created throughout this learning experi-

ence Göttingen, Kassel and Clausthal-

Zellerfeld.

Today, May 7th

, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.

Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus as

their Savior is welcome to receive the cup

and the bread. An offering will be received

following the Service, for the Benevolent

Fund to assist those in need.
