Within the University of Toronto, consulting has been steadily growing specifically within Rotman Commerce. Through partnership with the Rotman Commerce Consulting Association (RCCA), you are able to access and inspire a new generation of management consultants.
Design Tomorrow’s Workforce
The Rotman Commerce Consulting Association hosts the largest consulting-related case competitions and events on campus, attracting students from across the university and country. This year, RCCA will be partnering with the University of Toronto Consulting Association (UTCA) and Rotman Commerce Women in Business (RCWIB) attracting not only Rotman Commerce students, but also engineering students, science students, and students from other universities. This makes it the best one-stop shop to meet future employees at U of T.
Work with the Largest Consulting-Focused Student Group
Rotman Commerce and the University of Toronto are rapidly growing within the consulting world. Last year, the RCCA received 3x as many applications for RC3 than we had open positions, demonstrating the massive demand for consulting-related events on campus. Being a partner in our growth can enable you to make an early impression on top candidates during recruiting season. The RCCA has a strong presence across campus, which we leverage to raise awareness about consulting and our corporate partners.

MAJOR PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Perspectives Case Competition brings management consulting and other strategy firms together with students to develop case analysis and presentation skills. There will be numerous opportunities to network throughout the day, as well as a keynote address from one of our sponsors. As one of Rotman Commerce’s largest events, your firm will benefit from a high degree of exposure with Rotman students. In previous years, the event has hosted between 80-100 students, with 2-3 applications for each open position.

In partnership with Rotman Commerce Women in Business, students meet a panel of female leaders at consulting firms and learn about their experience in consulting, including major challenges and success stories. During the event, students will have the opportunity to network with representatives where they can gain insight into career opportunities available at firms such as yours.

Strategy 360o is targeted towards second and third year students who have an interest in strategy and management consulting and are looking to learn more. The event will feature a panel, workshops and networking to help students learn about possible consulting and strategy careers. This is a great event for firms to talk to students about incoming internship opportunities and start conversations before formal recruitment begins.

Strategy Night provides students and firm representatives with the opportunity to connect off-campus in a low pressure environment. This is a great opportunity for firms to personally introduce themselves to future recruits and talk about incoming internship opportunities.

CONSULTINGDEMYSTIFIEDConsulting Demystified is an introductory event where first year students will have the opportunity to learn about consulting. Students will gain hands-on experience through various consulting-related challenges led by experienced consultants in a low-pressure environment.
CASUALCONNECTIONSAt Casual Connections, first and second year students will get to know current students and recent graduates who have secured placements in the consulting industry. Students will also be able to learn about how to prepare and the keys to success.

This case competition and consulting conference represents a collaboration between the RCCA and the University of Toronto Consulting Association (UTCA). While in previous years each group held separate case competitions, this year we are pooling our resources to expand the competition, host workshops throughout the day, and centralize U of T recruiting for firms. We are planning to have 100+ students attending the conference, with 64 third year students participating in the case competition throughout the day. Regardless of whether or not you choose to sponsor us, we welcome your representatives to attend our events.
