G1000 Avionics - Garmin 1000 all glass avionics suite

Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) KR-87 Bendix/King - The KR-87 Bendix/King Digital ADF is a panel-mounted, digitally tuned automatic direction fi nder. Provides continuous 1-kHz digital tuning in the frequency range of 200-kHz to 1799-kHz and eliminates the need for mechanical band switching. The system has a receiver, a built-in electronic timer, a bearing pointer shown on the G1000 Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) and a KA-44B combined loop and sense antenna. Controls for the Ben-dix/King Digital ADF are achieved through the panel mounted receiver. The Garmin GMA 1347 Audio Panel is used to control audio output. Can be used for position plotting, homing procedures and for aural reception of amplitude modulated (AM) signals.

Garmin TAS - Garmin’s GTS800 . A 360° zone of detection identifi es other nearby transponder-equipped aircraft and vocalizes for specifi c traffi c-spotting information. Uses Garmin’s exclusive CLEAR CAS™ technology with up to 12 miles of active surveillance and ADS-B “In” capability.

DME - Distance measuring equipment (DME). Honeywell KN-63 receiver.

TAWS-B - The Garmin TAWS (Terrain Awareness and Warning Sys-tem) is an optional feature to increase situational awareness and aid in reducing controlled fl ight into terrain (CFIT). TAWS satisfi es TSO-C151b Class B requirements for certifi cation. TAWS provides visual and aural annunciations when terrain and obstacles are within the given altitude threshold from the aircraft. Class B TAWS is required for all Part 91 aircraft operations with six or more passenger seats and for Part 135 turbine aircraft operations with six to nine passenger seats (FAR Parts 91.223, 135.154).

Artex 3 Frequency ELT - Replaces the standard Artex ME-406 2-Fre-quency (Non-Nav Interfaced) ELT. A three frequency ELT that transmits on the International Emergency Frequencies and the satellite frequency of 406 MHz. The ELT will transmit the aircraft information and position coordinates. Note: This system requires customer registration at time of delivery with NOAA for recognition of the 406 MHz transmission. May be required for country certifi cation or operational requirements. Purchaser must furnish 24-bit code provided by registering country’s aviation authority.

Jeppesen ChartView Enablement Card Only - ChartView resembles the paper version of domestic Jeppesen terminal procedures charts. The charts are displayed in full color with high-resolution. The MFD depiction shows the aircraft position on the moving map in the plan view of the approach charts and on airport diagrams. Available data includes do-mestic arrivals (STAR), Departure Procedures (DP), Approaches, Airport Diagrams and NOTAMS. Requires Jeppesen Database Subscription Service. NOTE: The availability of the optional Jeppesen ChartView or standard Garmin FlightCharts and SafeTaxi in electronic form does not preclude the requirement to carry paper charts aboard the aircraft. See AC 120-76A for more information.

WX500 Stormscope - Weather sensor/processor uses external control-ler/display unit for control input and output display functions. Integrated with Garmin’s G1000 MFD. Sensor detects electrical discharge activity up to 200 nautical miles through a dedicated antenna mounted on the bottom of the airplane, continuously acquiring electrical discharge data and self-testing functions to ensure accurate.

XM WEATHER AND RADIO DATA LINK (GDL-69) - The XM weather and radio data link provides weather information anddigital audio entertainment in the cockpit. A subscription to the XM satel-lite radio service is required for the XM weather and radiodata link to be used.

Garmin Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT) - Position sensors on the aircraft integrate with a high resolution terrain database to present syn-thetic terrain imagery on the Primary Flight Display. Flight information is overlaid to provide greater safety and situational awareness.

Enhanced Vision System (EVS) - Enhanced Vision System provides an infrared view outside the cockpit, turning night to day and improving visibility through smoke and haze.

Wheel Fairings - Wheel Fairings are designed to reduce drag and provide a clean and streamlined look for operators wishing to increase speed and improve aesthetic appearance. The wheel fairings are made of composite materials and hold the classic tear drop design.

Pedal Extensions - Pedal Extensions space the rudder pedals between two and three inches farther aft to aid access for shorter limbed pilots.
