Founded in March 2010 and registered in the UK with the primary focus on residential landlines and business customers using the BT Open Reach Network who have gotten a raw deal from other suppliers due to their small size and limited spending power. Simultaneously developing the operations of Opton Soft and Opton PC Care from its captive unit Opton Infocom in Kolkata India.
Opton Infocom becomes a Private Limited Company in Sept 2010 in accordance with the Indian Companies Act.
Opton as a whole, now spreads its reach from the Americas in the west to Australia in the East with an ever-increasing customer base.

The IT outsourcing market continues to be strong, with 72 percent of large companies currently outsourcing at least one function.
In fact, over 40 percent of large companies outsource two or more functions.
The chart reveals that penetration is even greater if we focus only on the Fortune 500. Approximately one-quarter of large companies interviewed outsource only one IT function, while another one- quarter do not currently outsource, leaving room for growth in outsourcing going forward.

Continued Growth Anticipated in IT Outsourcing
In part due to their very positive outsourcing experiences, most companies are expecting to increase their IT outsourcing usage in the next two years.
Among large companies, nearly two-thirds project an increase. This is even higher for the Fortune 500. Three-quarters anticipate an increase and over half of those expect a “substantial increase”.

"More than 1.3 million additional Western jobs will vanish by 2014 due to "the
accelerated movement of work to India and other offshore locations," says the study
released Nov. 15. Hackett doesn't talk of this as good or bad, but as something that
will be a reality and a challenge for more western businesses. Hackett says the pace of
