Computer Programming

Pupils will learn to write computer programs using Visual Basic This part of the course is mainly practical as

pupils will spend most of the time writing and testing their own programs

Pupils find this part of the course highly motivating because of the sense of achievement from producing a working ‘windows’ program

Practical work

40% of the course is practical 5 practical assessments have to be

completed and account for 40% of the final mark: Spreadsheet task Database task Multimedia project 2 Programming tasks
