Plug-ins Follow the steps below to deploy any Oracle custom plug-ins into your OAC/DV deployment

Step # 1. Download your desired ‘custom plugin’

Step # 2. Logon to Oracle Analytics /va

Step # 3. Navigate to > console > custom plugins >

Step # 4. Click Upload custom plugin downloaded in step # 1

Summary. Your plug-in is now available for use. Edit or create new DV project and your plug-in will be an available visualization option.

Maps and Spatial Follow the steps below to deploy any Oracle maps and spatial into your OAC/DV deployment

Step # 1. Download your desired ‘map or map layer

Step # 2. Extract contents of zipfile to the default folder name

Step # 3. Logon to Oracle Analytics /va

Step # 4. Navigate to > console > maps >

Step # 5. Click on ‘add a custom map layer’ > navigate to the folder created in step # 2 and import the .geo.json file

Summary. When building a DV report using maps you will have the option to select your new map layer as the background

Note. Many map layer downloads include .dva files, these are prebuilt DV examples. See Projects and Reports section for details on importing pre-built DV

projects

Sample Projects Follow the steps below to deploy any Oracle Sample projects into your OAC/DV deployment

Step # 1. Download your desired ‘Project or Report’

Step # 2. Extract contents of zipfile to the default folder name (you will have a .dva file)

Step # 3. Logon to Oracle Analytics /va

Step # 4. From the DV home page click on import

Step # 5. Select file extracted in step # 2 > note: when prompted password is Admin123

Summary. Your project will now be available from ‘my folders’
