Course Objective:  For students to acquire sufficient knowledge and experience from this course that will assist the students in the preparation for taking the Oracle11G Database Administration Exam (1Z0-053) as part of the requirements to achieve the Oracle 11G DBA OCP certification offered by Oracle. Course Components:  The course consists of the Oracle DBA material Oracle specifica lly requires in addition to other relevant material. Each class has been carefully crafted with the use of both lecture and lab. The labs, which are interspersed with the lectures, allow the students to actually get some hands-on experience using Oracle and doing any homework assignments, tests and their projects. Grades:  Students w ill be given 2 tests. These tests will be very similar to the types and style of test questions Oracle uses. Each test will count for 50 percent, for a total of 100 percent, of the students overall grade and each test will receive a numeric grade ranging from 100 to 0.     Course Overview

    Course Objective:
