• The implementation of technology in this course was very significant and necessary. For example, the use of online dictionaries facilitated the improvement of pronunciation in some words. I learn how to convert the extension of my recording achieves into MP3 ones. It was really challenging but there is a theory that says “prove and error” so what I did was to try several times using the converter software until I get it. I have to confess that when I get it I felt very happy with myself.

• In addition, technology and tools were an essential part for all of us because we needed those tools for develop our work and record ourselves. Even though some of us had a problem with those tools because some of them did not how they work or for example they recorded in a mobile phone and it did not permit them record more that 3 minutes and it was a problem. But there were other options to record ourselves. For example, the page that the teacher gave us and the program audacity. It was really helpful for me because it was the program that I used during whole the course.

Comments from students• I will try to summarize the experiences I had with everything that

had to do with technology, a term which seems to be against me. I really had trouble when trying to either record or upload some of the files, I am not trying to justify myself but it was something new for me, I am not an expert at using recording devices and stuff but I think in the end I could handle some situations that I could not when I started to use some of the software of the computers or when trying to record with a cell phone, I think now that I have learned from my mistakes and lack of knowledge of some technology’s features, perhaps it was kind of late when I understood how things worked in this technology environment, anyways I hope I can further use some of the things I learned about technology in this seminar.

Comments from students

• And concerning to the last point “the technology and tools” it was an essential part for me, in view of the fact that I learnt many things. It was good to work with recordings because I had to learn firstable to record with my mobile, I didn´t know even that, then I had to learn to copy that recording on the computer, after that convert the recording to a MP3 format, and finally to burn it on a CD. It is really a process to follow. In this part of converting the files, I had to download first the converter from internet, at the beginning it was such a challenge for me because I didn´t knowhow to do it, but at last I got it.
