Kindergarten 2019 planning is well underway. If you know of someone who lives within the school’s zone or has
siblings at the school- please encourage them to return their enrolment form to the office before the end of term.
Please ensure your child has a school uniform hat each day for school.
Thank you to all our families and staff for another successful term at our school. We value all our students and wish
them a safe and happy holiday. We resume school on Monday 15th October.
Quote: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Eleanor Roosevelt.
Debating - The Debating Team, argued their final debate of the year on Wednesday the 19th of September. The topic was “All students should learn a second Language” and we were the affirmative. Speakers Lucy Pobje, Corey Binks, Mikaela Sutcliffe and Sophie Lockyer did their best to prove that all students would benefit from acquiring a second language but by a narrow margin Orana was beaten. Tottenham won and will progress through to the next round. All the debaters including Rabab Helal, Andie McTiernan, Tazmine Campbell and Beau Barrett worked relentlessly over the last two terms to win two out of the four debates they participated in. We are hoping to do even better next year. Well done debaters you represented our school wonderfully, always displaying the school values, working hard and being courteous in both victory and defeat.

Stage 2 participated in the Boys & Girls Woolworths Blast Cricket Cup last week.
We entered six boy and six girl teams. All the students played well and had a lot of fun. We are very proud of how the students displayed the values of respect, responsibility and
safety on the day.
