Principal’s Report I would like to thank everyone for their support of our school this year. Orana Heights PS has an enviable reputation
amongst the schools in Dubbo and this is due, in no small part, to the support of the parent body. A particular thanks to
that dynamic group of parents on the P & C who are always there to support all of the children in the school. Everyone’s
kids have benefited from their actions - well done.
Next year we will have the most number of changes in staffing in my time at the school. We have staff movement as a
result of retirement and resignation. I will leave it until the first newsletter next year to make you aware of the names of the
new staff. Our numbers at present are still very close to the formation of another class. We have prepared for 20 classes
however are very close to the numbers for 21 classes.
Therefore classes will only be “temporary” for the first 2 weeks till we see how this pans out.
All students are invited to come in OUT OF UNIFORM (please wear a sun safe hat and no thongs) tomorrow as it is their
last day for 2012.
I hope everyone has a safe, happy and relaxing Christmas period and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2013. Craig Renneberg Last words from Mrs Aird
I would like to say thank you to the school community, staff and all students for a wonderful 18 years at Orana Heights.
My time here has been filled with many exciting and memorable moments that I will take with me. I have had a lovely few
days with staff, students and parents wishing me good luck for the future. All the best in 2013. Judy Aird
