WELCOME TO THE ORANGE REGIONThe Orange region is very unique and rich in the abundance of fresh produce. The produce and wines of the Orange region have a unique style as a result of the local climate, soils and topography (terroir).

The vineyards and orchards on the slopes of Mt Canobolas and the surrounding area of Orange produce some of the finest cool climate wines and orchard fruit – apples, cherries and stone fruit, in Australia. The district is also a major producer of a range of quality fruit and vegetables, meats raised on the sweet upland pastures as well as olive oil, olives, verjus, nuts, jams and preserves.

The region claims to have one of the sunniest cool climate wine regions in Australia. Cool sunshine is vital to develop high fruit colour and maintain grape flavour.

The Orange region also has the buzz of a hip dining destination with many extraordinary culinary options including three Good Food Guide one hat restaurants.

The cafe culture is very strong in Orange and is continually changing and evolving. Every month there are new establishments opening which continually builds on the exciting vibrancy of the restaurant and cafe scene.

Combine all of the above together with a spectacular rural landscape and you have the exciting and unique Orange region.
