Almighty God, you have chosen in your mercy to gather us together into your Church, and have guarded our faith and practices by giving us your Holy Word, which protects us from lies and idols. May we constantly abide under the protection of your Word, and in doing so, cling tightly to Christ, your Son, who has joined us forever to himself. Amen.

Minister: What is your only comfort in life and in death?

The Lord’s Table—Holy Communion
This is a joyous opportunity for all to seek the Lord Jesus Christ. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is an occasion for all baptized Christians to meet with their Savior by faith, to be strengthened and renewed by him, and celebrate who he is and what he has done for us. All who trust alone in Christ as Savior and Lord, belong to a church that embraces the Gospel, are striving to be at peace with their neighbor, and seek strength to live more faithfully, are welcome. If you are not a Christian, or choose not to share in this meal, we invite you to spend this time in prayer, considering your relationship to Jesus Christ.
If your heart’s desire is to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, there is a prayer at the bottom of the next page that can help guide you. If you pray this prayer, please speak to the pas-
tor or elders after the service.
Confession of Sin In Unison
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. me complete forgiveness. I turn away from my past life of self-centeredness and now confess you are my Lord, my God and my Savior. I believe you have been raised from the dead and humbly ask you fill me with your
