• More than 500,000 Kg of Used OREX is Processed in the USA OREX Processing Facility each Year

o Waste Volume Reductions of 10,000:1 are common on scrubs, mops, wipes, sheeting and waste bags

OREX Processing System History – First Generation Processor

Year 2001 – First Generation OREX Processor (Model MB-200) begins Commercial Operation in the USA

Year 2003 – First Generation OREX Processor Capacity Increased from 100 Kg per Batch to 270 Kg per Batch (Model MB-600)

Year 2006 – Two Model MB-600 OREX Processors Operating at Central USA Processing facility

Year 2007 – One Model MB-200 Processor Begins Operation at USA Government facility

Year 2009 to Present – USA Central Processing Facility Processes over 500,000 Kg of Used OREX each Year from USA NPPs

OREX Processing System History – 2nd Generation Processor

Year 2010 – Small Scale 2nd Generation OREX Processor was Installed at Wolsung NPP in South Korea and was Successfully used to Process Used OREX During the Refueling Shutdown Period.

Year 2010-2011 – USA Engineers Modify 2nd Generation Processor for Application in USA and China. First Large Capacity 2nd Generation Processor is Currently being Constructed at Central Facility in USA (180 Kg per Batch Capacity)

Note: 2nd Generation OREX Processor has been Specifically Modified to Optimize Effluent Discharge Chemistry to Satisfy Japan, Korea, China Requirements

China Nuclear Power Engineering Corp (CNPE) Recently Completed a Full Feasibility Evaluation for OREX Implementation in China NPPs. The Results were Very Positive.

First China NPP has Designated Space in the Reactor Auxiliary Building for the First OREX Processor to be Installed.

ETI is Creating a China based OREX Processor Fabrication and Installation Team to Prepare for 2nd Generation OREX Processor Installation at China NPPs
