Dear fellow folders!
We would like to invite you to our 32nd convention in Erkner from 15th to 17th
of May 2020. You will find all important information regarding the convention
(location, program, registration etc.) in the following pages.
We're looking forward to the meeting!

From Berlin central
station take regional
train RE1 towards
Frankfurt
(Oder) until Erkner sta-
tion. RE1 runs every
thirty minutes, it's a 30
minute ride.
// by car – A10:
Take exit "Erkner" on the eastern part of the Berlin Ring mo-
torway A10 and follow the signs toward Erkner, 160 free
parking places available.
// by plane – airport Berlin-Schönefeld:
Take S-Bahn (commuters train) S9 to Berlin Ostkreuz and
change there to S3 to Erkner.
The trains run every 10 to 20 minutes during daytime, total
travel time is approximately one hour. Alternatively take the
train Airportexpress RE7 or RB14 to Berlin Ostbahnhof and
change to RE1 (see "by rail" left), total travel time 55 minu-
tes. Second alternative: take a taxi to Erkner, driving time
approximately 30 minutes.

Take bus TXL to Berlin central station (30 minutes), from
there as written above.

Convention registration is possible via Origami Deutschland
only. This applies to folders as well as non folding partici-
pants. Maximum number of participants: 250

The forms for participants staying at the conference hotel
as well as daily participants and children are available at
https://papierfalten.de/jahrestreffen_en.html. Please note
that the online form has been sent successfully if the notice
"Herzlichen Dank für deine Anmeldung ..." pops up on your
screen.
Within two weeks you will receive a confirmation by email
together with payment details. Please inform us by email
at [email protected] if you did not receive this
confirmation within two weeks.

The BZ Erkner has 8 twin rooms (accessible, 1 add.
camp bed for children possible) and 24 double rooms. Until 31st December 2019 these rooms are reserved for
families and handicapped participants. People outside this
group registering for a double room will be entered onto a waiting list. After 1st January 2020 the remaining double/
twin rooms will be allocated according to the waiting list. We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the BZ Erkner before and after the convention (B&B, arrival from 14th May 2020, departure until 18th May 2020). Please book these additional nights via Origami Deutschland as well, otherwise you may need to change your room during the stay. Full or half board for additional days needs to be booked in advance as well.
All rooms are ensuite (shower/WC) and equipped with telephone, TV and desk.

from 11th February 2020: 50 % of the convention fee*
from 11th March 2020: 65 % of the convention fee*
from 11th April 2020: 80 % of the convention fee*
In case of cancellation after 13th May 2020 or non atten-
dance: 100% of convention fee*

Conditions of participation:
1. The folded model must be clearly related to the
competition theme.
2. You may only use paper for your entry. Auxiliary
materials (glue, thread, etc.) are allowed.
3. Required information: model/title, author, folder,
auxiliary materials.
All submitted models will be presented anonymously
(without giving away the folder‘s name). Participants of the
convention will choose their favorites.
The artists with the most votes will receive small prizes.

Workshops
Who wants to give a workshop?
Please complete and submit the workshop form on our
website (https://papierfalten.de/jahrestreffen_en.html)
until 31st March 2020. Please fill in the part of required
papers so we may plan accordingly and order the necessary
material in advance.
Model collection
The deadline for submitting diagrams is 31st March 2020.

We will publish two diagrams per author only. Contributing
authors will receive a copy of the model collection.
Please submit the declaration of consent for publication
(https://papierfalten.de/documents/consent-form.pdf) to-
gether with the folding instructions.
If you send in additional diagrams we kindly ask for your
permission to publish them in a future edition of our magazi-
ne "der falter".
Exhibition
Like each year there will be the opportunity to present
models in an exhibition.
Due to limited space we can offer every exhibitor a table
space of 68 x 68 cm only. We thank you for your understan-
ding and kindly ask to observe the limit in the interest of all
exhibitors.
Origami to go
We will provide a table for origami models and origami paper
you want to give away. Anyone who wants to add or choose a
few items is welcome.
We are happy to accept book donations for our OD library.
