The dilemma faced by Orit Gadiesh is how to deliver the speech at the company's annual meeting. Two approaches: Rational approach: Following this approach, she should talk about numbers and facts to give a sense of accomplishment in the past year. She should not talk about pride as people at this company do not blindly follow leadership. Charts and figures will help them draw conclusions on the strength of the company and will make them feel proud. But, this approach would focus pride on company's growth rather than its values, team and employees. Emotional approach: Following this approach, she should talk about pride in the growth of the company . She should congratulate everyone on their contribution to the success of the company in the past year. This will focus pride on company's values and team. But, this may be treated with suspicion as people believe in numbers.
