According to the lawsuit, Sosa was pushed from behind was he was leaving the club.

He turned and grabbed the person behind him, the suit said, but when he realized it was a police officer, he "immediately" let go and apologized.

Sosa met up with a group of friends who gathered around the exit and were getting ready to leave, when two officers fired a taser into his back, the suit said.

Sosa fell to the ground and was tased by a second officer, the suit said. A third officer arrived and fired a chemical spray, the suit said.

Sosa suffered injuries to his knees and lower back, the suit said.

The case was set to go to trial next week, but the parties filed notice Monday that they settled the case. No other details were provided about the settlement in the court documents, but the city confirmed it was for $24,999.
