2 Wheel Tractors

2 Wheel Tractors (also known as Walking Tractors) are used all over the world in a variety of applications. From small hobby farmers and gardeners to larger farms and landscaping busi-nesses, commercial 2 Wheel Tractors are versatile and productive work horses.

Just like a regular 4 Wheel Tractor, Pasquali and BCS 2 Wheel Tractors run a single Power Take Off (PTO). The PTO allows the tractor to run many different powered and non-powered implements from tillage machinery, mowers and harvesting machinery. BCS is the largest manufacturer of professional walking tractors in the world. Based in Milan, Italy, BCS has been manufacturing 2 Wheel Tractors since 1943. The Pasquali company was founded in 1948. In 1999 BCS acquired Pasquali and the company continues to produce and market the two brands worldwide.

Why a 2 Wheel Tractor?

For small hobby farmers to larger operations 2 Wheel Tractors can make a lot of sense. 2 Wheel Tractors are much more manoeuvrable than traditional 4 Wheel Tractors and their compact profile allows them to work in areas where traditional 4 Wheel Tractors cannot. 2 Wheel Tractors are also less costly than larger tractors but can still be used in a variety of applications.Walking Tractors can also improve farm productivity by being able to perform work between rows during growing season without damaging crops or compacting the earth. For smaller farmers and gardeners, 2 Wheel Tractors provide advantages over cheap, single pur-pose light duty garden rotary tillers. While more expensive than these machines, genuine Walking Tractors can perform a multitude of tasks and maintained properly will last a lifetime.

Implements

Our range of BCS and Pasquali 2 Wheel Tractors come standard with a heavy duty rotary hoe. While this attachment and application is the most popular use of a 2 Wheel Tractor there are many other types of machines that can be attached. BCS and Pasquali manufacture a range of their own attachments such as mowers and ploughs. However there are a number of other small Italian manufacturers who produce a wide range of attachments compatible with 2 Wheel Trac-tors.Vin Rowe Farm Machinery is the importer of a large range implements such as Berta rotary ploughs and mowers, R2 Rinaldi Power Harrows, Gramegna Spaders and Aldo Biagioli non-powered ploughs, furrowers, bed shapers and potato lifters.

Vin Rowe has been the Australian importer of BCS and Pasquali 2 Wheel Tractors since 2011. During this time we have gathered a lot of valuable experience in the requirements of our custom-ers. You may choose from two types of gasoline engines: Honda GX270, 8.4 HP or Honda GX340, 10.7 HP and a diesel engine Kohler KD350, 7.5 HP. ROTARYTILLER (HOE)

Used for both primary andsecondary cultivation, the tiller inverts soil and garden trash whilst leaving a fine, even finish.

In very hard solis tilling will be in first gear and may need you to make several passes so as to chip away at the hard crust by digging deeper on each pass.

The over use of a tiller can be detrimental to your soil by making the top soil too fine, how-ever when you create and maintain a properly structured soil profile,most of your tilling can be carried out in second or third gear which is generally not detrimental to your soil.

Tiller rotor speed is 290 rpm and depth and tilth control are standard features. Working depth is up to 200mm in good soil structure.

ADJUSTABLEFURROWER

Easily attaches to therear of the tiller in order to create a furrough (ie:shaping beds). The ridger is adjustable to suit all model tillers.

SPADER

60cm reciprocatingspader that works, as the name suggests, like a set of six shovels. Ideal cultivating imple-ment for farmers who work hard to create a perfect soil structure - and want to maintain it.

The spader is gentle on the soil,leaves no hard pan, works in wet conditions & will bury tall standing crop residue without tangling or blocking.

CUTTERBAR(Sickle Mower)

115cm cut with oil bath transmission. Ideal for standing crop to be gathered or matted pasture grass, bracken, etc. Great on slopes - aids tractor stability

Standard is a conventional plough that turns the soil to the right whilst the reversible has two boards, one that turns to the right & one to the left with a simple switch - over handle.

This is a sturdy unit which is ideal for turning the first sod in preparation for working new ground.Also works well as a skimmer, cutting just below the surface to dislodge unwanted veg-etation. Fully adjustable in entry angle,plough shear angle and cutting position behind the tractor (plough can be in the centre of the tractor or our level with one wheel).

ROTARY PLOUGH

2 MODELS: The Single which throws soil to the right and Swivel which by operation of a handle can throw soil to either the left or right. Primary or Secondary cultivator with a verti-cal rotor fitted with four plough - type shears that cut into and laterally discharge the soil or standing crop (oats/corn,etc).Ideal for opening up new ground,perfect for hilling up beds. The working action causes no panning effect and is gentle on the soil. An adjustable wheel controls the depth down as far as 300mm. Great for one pass trenching (draining).

POTATOLIFTER

Suitable for all rootcrops (onions,garlic).Simple design with low power requirements. The entry shear passes under the crop, the soil and crop pass onto the sifting rods, the soil drops through the rods leaving the crop to be deposited on the surface.

POWERHARROW

Designed for seed bedpreparation with clodburying leveling bar, vertical “stirring” blades and full width mesh depth adjusting roller. The blade action is gentle on the soil and there is no downwards pressure to create any pan-ning. The soil is not inverted - it keeps it’s layer structure.

FLAIL MULCHINGMOWER

Heavy duty 65cmand 85 cm FlailMowers with adjustable roller height control.Extremely robust with heavy “agricultural” reversible Y blades. Will mulch high standing crop (corn), overgrown pasture,manure,in one pass or simply mow grass like a lawn mower.
