Science and Information Systems are designed for students to be trained with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced industry and make an impact in the world.
Knacktive • A capstone program that is designed
to simulate a full-service marketing agency and combines talents from five schools and departments on campus.
Graphic design • Create powerful, compelling design
by working closely with faculty and industry professionals.
Emergency and Disaster Management
• A multidisciplinary, customizable program that focuses on three core areas: emergency management, humanitarian relief in conjunction with homeland security and defense.
Nanoscale science• The nanoscale science program
prepares students for success in a high-growth, high-tech career field through courses and labs that provide an in-depth understanding of nanoscale phenomena, while offering hands-on experience and access to state-of-the-art instrumentation and computer simulations.
Agriculture • As the need for feeding an ever-
growing population continues to expand, the School of Agricultural Sciences offers hands-on training at the R.T. Wright Farm, the Horticultural Complex and the Agricultural Mechanics Laboratory, to name a few.
Communication and Mass Media• Get hands-on experiences in the
School of Communication and Mass Media with two radio stations, a television station, converged print and online newspaper, yearbook, and audio recording studios for students to use.

Career ServicesCareer Services offers a variety of assistance to Northwest students and alumni. Stop by their office for resume and cover letter assistance, internship and job searches, interview preparation, and more.
Friends of International Students (FIS) is a community-based organization established to match families with international students at Northwest. The program provides support to students as they adjust to their new home, and promote friendship and understanding between people of different nationalities.
