IN THE MATTER OF
BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
The Annual Consolidated Report of Potomac Electric Power Company
) ) ) ) )
PEP ACR-2020
MOTION TO EXTEND DATE FOR FILING OF ANNUAL CONSOLIDATED REPORT
Pursuant to Order No. 12735 1 and Rule 513.l of the Public Service Commission of the
District of Columbia's ("Commission") Rules of Practice and Procedure, Potomac Electric Power
Company ("Pepco") is required to file its Annual Consolidated Report ("ACR") on or before
February 15 of each year. Over the past several years, Pepco has filed a motion to extend the time
to file the ACR. The motion has been routinely granted and Pepco believes it is widely known that
many of the data included in the ACR are not available for inclusion in a repo1i in mid-February.
In addition, Pepco would note that the due date for the ACR, as well as other matters regarding the
content of the report, have been subject to numerous discussions among the Productivity
Improvement Working Group ("PIWG") over the past several years. The Commission even issued
a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking ("NOPR") on August 30, 2019 that, if approved, would modify
the date to June 15111 each year.
For these reasons, Pepco again moves for an extension of time-until April 1, 2020- to
file the ACR. Pepco can represent that the Office of People's Counsel does not oppose this motion.
