We'll have great food, drink, andentertainment, and lots of great items you can bid on and win! Join Tucson treasure Lupita Murillo from KVOA News 4, Tucson MayorJonathan Rothschild, and hundreds of Tucsonans for the biggest party ofthe year to benefit the programs and services that TIHAN provides forpeople living with HIV.

This is TIHAN's story: it's about care and engagement and getting people involvedand connected. I love seeing people working so hard to carry out our mission andprograms, and also to put on a great event to raise funds to keep people well. Ilove seeing our donors being so generous to support the HIV community, and ourstaff working so hard. And it's especially moving to see it when sometimes itseems like there's so much stigma, silence, misinformation, apathy about HIV.That might still exist--but that's only part of the story. The other--and bigger--part of the story is about compassion and service and love and support. We have a great team of people working on Treasures, including Patricia and Caroland so many others working hard to create a fun and successful event that willbring together the community and raise funds to support the programs andservices that are carried out by our staff and our volunteers. Programs to supportpeople emotionally, socially, educationally -- building skills, building confidence,and building support systems so that people with HIV know they aren't alone, andso that volunteers can be invested in being part of the solution.
