Most of our vehicles are supplied with a comprehensive package that includes a Service and MOT and 12 months warranty plus many extra options. All our Brand New Models are certificated with a VOSA Individual Vehicle Approval.

campervan.uk.comterms & conditions of ordering1. For all orders on vehicles, either converted or unconverted, we require an initial holding deposit of 5% of the value of the placement of order.

2. All brand new vehicles are to be paid for in full once the vehicle has arrived into stock. The full balance of the order is to be paid on completion.

3. For all second hand vehicles/conversions after a period of 21 days an interim deposit of 50% of the original price is required to secure the purchase, the full balance is to be paid on order completion.

4. All orders for parts or accessories must be paid for in full, prior to the goods being dispatched or upon collection.

5. All cheque payments for deposits, full deposits or total balances must be made payable to G&P Campervan. We accept payments by any of the following:Personal Cheque / Bankers DraftCredit/Debit Card (credit card payments will incur a 2.5% surcharge)Cash

6. All goods including vehicles will remain the property of G&P Campervan until the vehicle is paid in full and funds are cleared.

7. All prices quoted are excluding VAT unless otherwise stated.

8. Any Campervan vehicle sales or building and/or fitting orders which are cancelled by the customer, after work has commenced, will result in automatic loss of 30% of the total order value, plus any holding deposits made. Any costs incurred to G&P Campervan above 30% and the initial holding deposit must also be paid. For orders cancelled before work is commenced, a refund may be given at our discretion.

9. Due to constant effort to improve our range of products and prices, we reserve the right to alter specifications and prices without notice.

10. All mail order goods are subject to our post and packaging charges.

11. All goods returned are subject to a 25% handling charge.

12. G&P Campervan may at their sole discretion accept or reject the return of any goods which have been incorrectly ordered. In the event that G&P Campervan decides to accept the return of such goods, such acceptance shall be upon such terms as we may determine and in particular we reserve the right to charge for the carriage and handling of such goods.

13. Although G&P Campervan always endeavor to meet quoted deadlines, we are unable to guarantee delivery or collection dates due to operational constraints and the intricate nature of the product.

14. Please note vehicle specification may vary from time to time.

15. Any alteration to the original order placed must be approved by both G&P Campervan and the customer and confirmed in writing.

16. Items ordered may not always be available and we reserve the right to substitute with a product of similar specification.

17. Every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the contents of our brochure. However, G&P Campervan cannot be held responsible for any errors that may occur.

18. All damages, shortages or omissions must be reported to us within 3 working days of the product leaving our premises.

19. These terms and conditions along with the details in our brochure are subject to change without prior notice.

20. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

21. Upon placing an order with us you agree to these terms and conditions.

manufacturing on siteHere at G&P we convert all our campervans on site. Our skilled fitters are fully trained in all aspects of camper converting. We fit both the elevating and fixed roof to our own and customers vehicles.

All our furniture units are made to measure and manufactured in our joinery department. This allows us to be flexible and make sure all fittings are exact and to our customers specifications. This allows for bespoke furniture to made, to suit any requirement.

We also supply and fit windows to all panel vans.

We offer ongoing maintenance to all campervans and motorhomes including gas/water systems, leisure/vehicle electrics, lining/insulation, solar panels, heating systems and general campervan and motorhome repair. In addition we offer habitation checks, damp treatment as well as an MOT/Service here on site.

1. WHAT IS THE AVERAGE FUEL CONSUMPTION OF A BONGO/GRANVIA/FREDA?Average fuel consumption between 28 and32 mpg

2. ARE THESE VEHICLES EASY TO INSURE?Yes, there are more and more insurance companies nowadays that specialise in insuring campers and motor homes at a reasonable cost. We can point you in the direction of some highly recommended companies, please telephone us for further details.

3. HOW EASILY CAN I GET SPARE PARTS FOR MY BONGO/GRANVIA OR FREDA?Parts are readily available.

4.CAN YOU TOW TRAILERS ETC WITH THESE VEHICLES?Yes fitting a tow bar to the Bongo isn’t an issue and the Mazda or Ford SGL series with automatic gearbox is widely regarded as possibly one of the best auto’s to tow with.

5. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAZDA BONGO AND FORD FREDA?Absolutely nothing except the badge on the front grille and the pattern of the cloth on the seats and a Ford steering wheel is fitted on early models.

6. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT IN MY BONGO/GRANVIA/FREDA?The normal seating is 6-8 however we can offer a fully camperised vehicle as a two seat, two berth with every permutation in between. If you add an awning then, comfortably and sensibly, a family of 5-6 could be accommodated.

7. WHAT ABOUT MY PRIVACY?Most vehicles come fitted with factory fitted blinds and in some cases curtains and silver screens.

8. WHAT ABOUT ENHANCEMENTS?We offer a large range of enhancements and accessories for your vehicle. Please give our staff a call and discuss your requirements.

9. WHAT ABOUT WARRANTIES?All our Bongo’s/Granvia’s/Freda’s come with at least 3 months in-house warranty, giving peace of mind - unless you are purchasing a brand new vehicle, then these usually come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.

10. WILL I GET MY CAMPER ON THE EXACT DATE OF THE ORDER?We will always aim to adhere to delivery dates but sometimes they may be affected due to situations beyond our control. We will keep you informed of the progress of your order and advise if any changes occur.

Japanese Radio UpgradeIf you are keeping the factory fitted radio/CD player that comes with an imported vehicle, you will find that Japanese radios are designed to receive from 76MHz to 90MHz only and here in the UK broadcasts in that range are few and far between.

Waveband expanders are the simple answer, thus enabling you to tune out of Radio 2 and into a larger range of radio stations. They simply shift frequencies so the radio will receive 86MHz to 108MHz. Please enquire for details.

This unit is designed to be self contained and requires no vehicle modification and is very easy to fit and remove if necessary when not in use.

When fitted it is still possible for two people to sleep on the existing Mazda seats.

The Toyota Granvia is a large MPV produced by Toyota. It’s available in either seven/eight seater configurations and is based on the Hi Ace Powervan.

The Granvia comes in petrol (2.7 L) or turbo diesel (3.0 L) and in two-wheel or four-wheel drive.

We offer these as either a base vehicle or as a fully camperised version. With a choice of having a fixed, hi top or elevating roof.

The Granvia is slightly wider than the Bongo/Freda giving that little extra space i.e. wider bed.

All our Granvia’s come complete with 12 months MOT & a full service.

mazda bongoA Mazda Bongo Friendee or Ford Freda is an eight seater MPV.All the seating can fold down to make a double bed.

Most of them have what is known as an auto free top. This is an elevating roof which can be used to accommodate an extra two people or can be used for static storage. When lifted it gives standing room in the Bongo.

Bongo’s come in a range of 2WD and 4WD versions. A 2.5 Turbo diesel is a common standard although 2.5 V6 and 2.0 petrol engine versions are becoming available.

Japanese car companies actively encourage customers to return their old cars in part exchange every few years, thus leading to low mileage, and generally better condition (i.e. virtually no corrosion) vehicle overall than their European counterparts.

Vehicles in Japan also tend to have a higher specification, with items like air-conditioning/climate control and power steering fitted as standard. Some even have electronic window blinds, in fact all the trimmings of a luxury Japanese vehicle.

Parts are easy to obtain and the vehicles can be easily serviced/repaired at most local import friendly garages.

The Bongos can also be converted into a high spec campervan for touring, being narrower than the famous VW but costing a lot less.
