The MISSIONS COMMITTEE assists the congregation in supporting worthy missions and providing opportunities to demonstrate God’s LOVE in action. We are able to support these ministries locally, nationally, and internationally using our resources including YOUR TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURES.
OUR CHARGE is to encourage support for Christian based organizations that provide a UNIQUE service. We seek to have the greatest PEOPLE impact possible with our contribu-tions. We strive not to dilute our contributions by supporting too many agencies. All agen-cies should be examined annually with regard to their mission, need, open communication, financial responsibility (audited) and com-patibility with the core mission goals of our church. Local organizations should be stable, offer HANDS ON opportunity for participa-tion, and present a clear mission statement. Lastly, does the organization honor God by conducting their work with excellence?

YOUTH FOR CHRISTwww.manatee.yfc.netRoser donates to the local Manatee County chapter of this organization. Manatee YFC Ministries holds weekly meetings for local youth at each of the elementary, middle, and high schools as well as detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters. Through our youth, YFC reaches out to families. Manatee YFC is asking God to raise up an army of caring adults who will establish relationships with kids around the area. Volunteers are needed to serve directly with students, intercessors, financial partners, and help in the office. Their mission to reach local teens with the message that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.
OUR DAILY BREAD of Bradenton www.ourdailybreadofbradenton.orgOur Daily Bread was organized in 1984 in response to our community’s need to feed the hungry. Our Daily Bread of Bradenton is a community-driven organization that provides free daily meals to all who are hungry. Roser extends two hands to this group: financial backing as well as people to serve the meals. Over twenty families are on the list of helpers called to help. We work on the second
Monday of every month, and on the 5th Sunday (four times a year.) Every volunteer comes away from the task grateful for the
experience. Feeding the hungry is just part of the bigger picture that offers help to the homeless. (Did you know there are more that 2000 homeless children in Manatee County?)

Utilizing the world’s largest non-governmental hospital ship, Mercy Ships transforms lives... bringing free medical care, hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor.

The mission is to provide excellent aviation service delivering cargo, mail and humanitarian aid to missionaries. The supplies transported to more than 350 missionaries are used to change lives, one person at a time.
