In and Around New Orleans

Planning your trip is simple with the Regional Transit Authority(RTA) trip planner found at www.norta.com.

When you are ready to go, arrive at your stop 5 minutes before your bus or streetcar is scheduled to arrive. Have your fare ready when you board and consider purchasing one of our convenient Jazzy Passes to make your boarding time even smoother.

Safety is our #1 priority at RTA. That’s why all of our vehicles are equipped with security cameras to ensure your safety and the safety of our operators.

You can help provide a safe, secure and pleasant ride for everyone by following a few simple guidelines:

• Pay the correct fare. • Respect other passengers’ privacy. • Use headphones.• No smoking, eating, littering or playing radios.• No alcoholic beverages.• Do not lie down or put your feet on seats. • Respect transit property. • Use cell phones quietly.• Do not harass the operator or other passengers.

You will be asked to leave the bus or streetcar if you do not follow these guidelines.
