First cuts will be posted Wednesday, October 29th at Noon on the door of the coaches office. Players should check the list during lunch!

Those not making the team might be called back in case of an injury, academic disqualification, or lack of fall sport participant.

There will be a mandatory meeting for players making the first cut and their parents at 7:30pm on Thursday, October 30th in the cafeteria. Please bring your check books.

Those playing fall sports will be given a two morning tryout the Monday and Tuesday following the last varsity football game of the season before final rosters are decided.

Each player and parent must sign the Player Code of Conduct prior to participation in any basketball activities.

Just a reminder that players who are selected for the teams are expected to be at ALL TEAM EVENTS. No excuses.

Schedule tutoring, doctors, etc around your basketball commitments.

If you cannot make that commitment, you should not try out for our basketball program.

We suggest you review the Player Code of Conduct prior to tryouts. A copy can be found on Coach Dankosky’s website

on the Dunwoody High School homepage.

Making cuts is the hardest part of being a coach. Basketball, being the most popular sport in the world and having the least number of players on a roster makes things even more difficult. We developed

this method to be fair to all those trying out.
