You may visit us on Sunday mornings from 9:15-

LENTEN BIBLE STUDY
CAFÉ, our Catholic Adult Faith Enrichment group, is
offering a Lenten Bible Study on Tuesday evenings
from 7:00-8:00 pm in the lower level of the Schneider
Parish Center.
The class began on February 17 and concludes March
24. We gather in small groups to review and discuss
the Scripture readings for each of the upcoming Sun-
days of Lent.
This year we are using a book called “At Home with
the Word 2015”. The book contains the Sunday read-
ings and commentaries for the entire liturgical year, so
those who choose to purchase the book can refer to it
through November.
Joining a small faith-sharing group is a special way to
reinforce your personal Lenten journey, and each year
those who participate are always glad that they did.
The study book is optional and costs approximately
$9. To register for this class, or to receive more infor-
mation, please send email to:
[email protected] or call Paul Harkins at 610-
466-7494 or Sue Brown at 610-857-2026.
If you are unable to attend the meetings but would like
to participate at home, please contact us to order a
book.
Change your heart
Give up unhealthy habits that keep you from be-
coming closer to Christ.
Instead of “giving up” a food item, consider giving
up spiritual “junk food”-gossip, self-righteous
anger, sarcasm.
Say “I love you” to those closest to you.
Ask yourself, “Is there anyone in my life from whom
I need to ask forgiveness or pursue reconcilia-
tion?”
NIGHT AT THE RACES
Mark your calendar for the annual “Knight at the
Races” at the SPC on Saturday, April 11, at
7:00pm.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, so come early and enjoy
the trivia, great food and beverages.
Our trivia expert will test your knowledge of unu-
sual facts and will award prizes to those who know
the correct answers.
Admission is only $5, payable at the door, and in-
cludes beer, soda and food. BYOB mixers are also
provided.
Post Time for the first race is 7:00 pm.
Forms are available at each worship site to buy and
name your own horse. The cost is only $10 and the
winner in each race pays $50.
This year, the event will benefit our Early Learning
Center.
It’s not too early to begin to get your group togeth-
er for a great time and a great cause.

PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY
Please remember in your prayers all the men and
women who are serving our country in the armed
forces.
Lord, protect them and their families for the selfless
acts they perform for us.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
STEWARDSHIP
“Destroy this temple and in three days
I will raise it up”
-John 2:19
If you stress about money, you are not alone.
A significant amount of Americans are deeply in debt,
living beyond their means, don’t have a clear plan to
solve their financial problems, and stress about it quite
a bit.
The fear, stress and conflict associated with money
issues can also impact our personal happiness.
Fights about money impact many of today’s marriag-
es, and this leads to additional stress on the marriage.
A recent study found that arguments about money are
the leading cause of divorce.
Did you realize that the Bible has over 2000 refer-
ences to money and money related matters?
Yes, God knows that the main thing that will keep us
from Him is the love of money. Today’s Gospel, John
2, says, “Zeal for your house will consume me”.
We also see Jesus overturning the moneychangers’
tables.
Please notice, it reads, “He made a whip out of cords’.
This was not a rash decision, he took the time to make
a whip to underscore His point, this is serious!
Jesus wants us to be clear of one thing in this gospel
today; our bodies are the temple of the Lord.
Think about this for a moment, God gave us over two
thousand references for money management, most of
us don’t bother to read or understand them and then
we suffer the consequences of stress and worry about
money management.
It just doesn’t make sense! The answers are there, we
just have to learn that our Father who is in heaven
wants us to have peace in our lives, not stress and
worry.
Financial Peace University- Update!
The Stewardship Committee would like to provide
an update regarding Financial Peace University
(FPU) right here at Our Lady of Consolation.
According to Dave Ramsey, we all need a plan for
our money.
Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan!
It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through
video teaching, class discussions and interactive
small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practi-
cal steps to get from where you are to where you've
dreamed you could be.
This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, man-
age your money, spend and save wisely, and much
more! The Stewardship Committee at Our Lady of
Consolation Church prayed for 6 families to register
and have 12 people attend, each registrant is encour-
aged to bring their spouse or an accountability part-
ner to the class.
Well, God showed up again and we have 17 regis-
trants and close to 30 people attend FPU each
Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 pm to learn about
God’s principles for money, to develop a game plan
to win with money and encourage other members of
the class in their journey as well.
We will offer FPU again in the spring and I expect
another great turnout. Please think about becoming a
member of the next FPU class which begins April 9,
2015. One way to do this is to attend a class as a
guest.
Just send me an email so I know you are coming and
can prepare a space for you.
The website for more information, or to register for
the next class is www.daveramsey.com or email
