Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Mission Statement

Rooted in the gospel, we are a Christ centered community guided by the Holy Spirit, embracing a future full

of hope, empathy and compassion, reaching out to all, especially

the marginalized, seniors and the youth.

Dear Parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe,

I WELCOME EVERYONE TO OUR

EASTER CELEBRATIONS!

I am happy you chose to celebrate Easter with us. Welcome!

In the brightness of this Easter day, we gather to celebrate

not only the resurrection, but the great lengths to which God is willing to go in order that we, the lost, might be

redeemed. Our God was willing to go to the cross for us.

Over these past three days we have devoutly recalled how Jesus was willing to bear the humility of being a man, how

he died upon the cross, how he descended into hell, unlocked the gates of heaven, and conquered the darkness

of evil and sin. From the hopelessness of the tomb and from

the emptiness of the grave, the Son of God has risen, and he comes to us this day with the promise of eternal life!

ALLELUIA ALLELUIA!

I express my deep appreciation to all those involved in our

Triduum Liturgies as well as our decorators and those who made donations for Easter flowers and decorations.

On behalf of our Parish Staff I extend to you our best wishes and all of the joy of Easter.

HAPPY EASTER!

Father Greg
