SACRAMENTS Baptism: All arrangements, including confirmation of the date, must be made with the parish office. Sponsors must provide proof of eligibility by a letter from their respective pastors, must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. Sponsors, if married, must either be married in the Church or with the Church’s permission. Parents must attend Baptismal Preparation, which is regularly scheduled throughout the year. Marriage: Arrangements must be made directly with the pastor at least 6 months before the date of the wedding. Marriage preparation is required and couples are asked to speak to the priest first before setting a date. Couples, rather than parents, should contact the priest. If either party was previously married, an annulment must be granted prior to the selection of a future wedding date.

Columbus The Knights of Columbus meet in the church hall of the Lucerne Worship Site the third Wednesday of the month. Rosary at 7:15 pm followed by the business meeting at 7:30 pm.

DLA: “Support a ministry in bloom” Support a ministry in bloom like the Interfaith Grief Support Group started at St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon, by graduates of the Certificate in Pastoral Ministry Program. Your donations to the Diocesan Lenten Appeal provide scholarships for certificate students. They can go on to serve as ecclesial ministers or ordained permanent deacons or take on leadership roles in parish life. Worship Sites Open for Private Prayer As of this writing the Coral & Lucernemines Worship Sites will be open for private prayer from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please be sure to wipe the door knobs and the area you were sitting in down with the sanitizing wipes before you leave. The hours are subject to change.

Regarding Clearances Thank you to all who have begun and/or completed their clearance process, there are still a few more whose clearances are expiring soon. Please start the process as soon as possible so that the clearances are processed before they expire. With the majority of the state offices closed, any manual forms will need to be processed when they are back to normal operations. If you have any questions regarding your clearances, please contact Connie Diven in the parish office at 724-479-9542, ext. 10 or email cdiven@dioceseofgreensburg.org.

Blessing of Palms The palms will be blessed this weekend, however, they will not be available for distribution until a later date. We will not have palms at either worship site nor the parish office until the date we are instructed to distribute!
