Our MissionTo provide the senior community with a

quality fitness program based on a form of meditative exercise known as Tai Chi. To

introduce the adult population to a safe and easy way to keep active, while improving

overall health and well-being.

What is Tai Chi? Tai Chi originated as a martial art in 13th century

China

Our program is based on the Yang style of Tai Chi, which is known for its slow, gentle, and relaxing movements

Widely practiced for its health benefits

The Benefits Increase energy

Relieve joint pain

Increase strength and mobility

Improve balance; decrease the risk of falls and injury

Relieve stress and improve mood

Our Class Low-impact, safe and easy-to-follow seated

workout

Relaxation and meditation music (mixed with classic favorites for a boost in energy!)

Use of advanced sound system and microphone

Instructors are educated and attentive; listens to and accommodates the needs of each participant
