Bud’s Best Cookies manufactures a full line of bite size and

standard size cookies in multiple flavors, pack sizes and case

configurations. As a family owned and operated company, we

are able to make and implement decisions efficiently and

effectively. We are committed to being the best cookie supplier.

Currently, the majority of our customers are mass merchants,

dollar stores, drug stores and convenience store distributors.

2020Bud’s Best Cookies was founded by Albert L. “Bud” Cason in Birmingham, AL in 1991. Bud has

been in the cookie industry for over 65 years. He sold a cookie company and a snack cake

company in 1986 and had to sign a 5 year non-compete agreement. Due to his

entrepreneurial sprit, love for the industry and innovation, he was inducted into the

American Society of Baking’s Bakers Hall of Fame, in 2017.

Execution

Not long after production began at Bud’s Best, we were contracted by

a national manufacturer to develop a bite size cookie program for

vending and convenience. We did this for them nationally, winning a

coveted award.

Baking Hall of Fame

■ Bud Cason was inducted into the Baking Hall of Fame in February 2017 by the American Society of Baking. This is the highest honor given within the baking industry.

■ The award was created to recognize industry innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Individuals inducted into the hall of fame are selected for achievements in organizational growth and development, equipment design and innovation, advancements in ingredient technology and processing or related service to the commercial baking industry.

■ “The lives and careers of these individuals provide wonderful examples of excellence and leadership,” said John Del Campo, chair of the A.S.B. Baking Hall of Fame Evaluation Committee. “They represent the best qualities of compassion, forward thinking and personal judgment. The committee feels honored to have looked at their accomplishments. They inspire our future by their experience.”
