Dear Residents, Families, Representatives, and friends, On behalf of the Pacifica Senior Living Community, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as the Executive Director of Healdsburg Senior Living. My career as a health care professional started right here in Healdsburg in 1992 at this very facility and it is so wonderful being back in the Healdsburg community meeting so many old friends, families and acquaintances. Let me take a mo-ment to fill you in on my life path since then. My education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Ger-ontology and Special (memory) Care Management, an Internship at Stanford University Medical Center Compre-hensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit for Spinal Cord and Brain Injury, and an undergraduate degree as a therapist. Professionally I am a CA Licensed Nursing Home Adminis-trator, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Preceptor (certified to train nursing home administrators), hold a Resi-dential Care Facility for the Elderly certification, am a memory care specialist and a certified therapist (RTC). As a health care professional and long-time Sonoma County

resident it has always been my goal to provide quality health care to the aging population of the county to promote opti-mum physical health, mental health and elder independence. I am very pleased to inform everyone that we recently com-pleted second doses of COVID-19 vaccine to residents and staff on Friday January 29. Healdsburg Senior Living is proud to be Pacifica Senior Living first property to accom-plish this goal and we are most grateful to Sonoma County Medical Health Operational Area Coordination Program for providing the vaccine. As we begin to make progress in the fight against COVID, we are all anxious to resume our normal activities and visits. I encourage all of you to contact our Activities Director, Julia Agee to schedule Zoom visits, until we can resume in person visits to the community.
