God of endless love,

to save us by the blood of his cross.
Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace,
join to your own suffering

in body, mind, and spirit
by those who betrayed the trust placed in them.
Hear the cries of our brothers and sisters
who have been gravely harmed,
and the cries of those who love them.
Soothe their restless hearts with hope,
steady their shaken spirits with faith.
Grant them justice for their cause,
enlightened by your truth.
Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts,
heal your people’s wounds
and transform brokenness into wholeness.
Grant us the courage and wisdom,
humility and grace, to act with justice.
Breathe wisdom into our prayers and labors.
Grant that all harmed by abuse may find peace in justice. We ask

Baptism The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month at noon, or as scheduled. Baptismal preparation classes may be required. Please contact the Parish Office to make arrangements.
Marriage Catholic parties should be members of Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish. They should contact the Priest at least six months before the wedding to allow time for preparation.
Funerals Call the Parish office to schedule an appointment with the Pastor to select readings and preparations for the Mass. Eucharist for homebound If you or a member of your family is unable to attend Mass please contact the Parish Office or Fran Osajda at (708) 873-1814 for the Sacraments of the Eucharist.
Anointing of the Sick If you or someone needs the Anointing of the Sick please call the Parish office.
Hospital Visits Call the parish office if you have anyone in the hospital. We are happy to see your loved ones.
Monthly Visit to homebound, nursing or retirement home. Please contact Fran Osajda at 708-873-1814 or the parish office.
Religious Education Grades 1-8 (Call Faith Formation Office) Wednesday, 6-7:30 PM-September through March.
