It was the period just after lunch, the French fries were soggy
and the lunch ladys hair net fell into the Sloppy Joes, yet again.
It was time for the class to start their unit on the Solar System,
but wait, the planets were no where to be found! Even though they
were ready to explore space, the students had no idea what to do
next But wait, is there hope? Could this class be brave enough to
find it and put it all back together?

HOW? Students will find the planets through completing lessons,
mastery of standards and I can statements Stars and other celestial
bodies will be earned when students earn points with the
class/specials behavior plan and by groups moving up in reading
levels Found planets and stars will be kept on a bulletin board for
the class to see their progress Parts of the Solar System will be
used to build a scale size model outside, including planets, stars,
the sun, and other celestial bodies
