Show us that you’ve got what it takes, and you can secure your place in NYP during your final year of study of your NITEC or Higher NITEC courses!

APPLICATION (JUN 2019)

EAE(I) application opens online at https://eae.polytechnic.edu.sg.

You can choose up to three courses.

Selection CriteriaNYP will assess applicants through a range of criteria, including:

• Clear evidence of interest and aptitude for applied learning in polytechnic courses• Demonstrated interest, talent and aptitude related to the course applied for, through portfolio,

work attachments or sustained involvement in course-relevant projects• Awards, achievements, testimonials and recommendations• Participation in competitions, seminars and relevant CCAs• Leadership positions or roles in school and/or CCAs

Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an aptitude test or interview.

ConditionsIf you receive a conditional offer via the EAE(I), in order to confirm your place in the diploma course, you will still have to meet the following admission criteria:

1. Obtain a final net Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or better** for NITEC qualification(including CCA bonus points); or

2. Obtain a final net GPA of 2.0 or better for Higher NITEC qualification (including CCA bonus points).

** For NITEC in Nursing holders, the minimum GPA requirement for admission to the Diploma in Nursing is 3.0.

All of NYP’s more than 40 diploma courses are available for application via the EAE(I). Of these, 17 of these diploma courses will be allowed to admit up to 50% of their enrolment through the EAE(I). These courses are:

If you do not withdraw by this deadline, you are deemed to have confirmed your acceptance; if you meet the admissions criteria for the Polytechnic course upon the release of your final ITE GPA, you will not be eligible to participate in the Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE) or other polytechnic admissions exercises.
