WHY EIGE ?
The Institute should carry out tasks that theexisting institutions do not deal with at aEuropean level, specifically in the areas of the• centralisation and dissemination of information,• coordination of research,• provision of visibility to gender issues,• the construction of tools for mainstreaming.
