After choosing the Car Manufacture and Model you will get instructions were to find the CAN wires in the Vehicle, and what signals are available by CAN-bus.

You will also get a picture describing the CAN-bus wires location.

Connect your Laptop to the Mobileye system using the “EyeCAN” cable or “Kvaser” cable

Connect E-box to Mobileye5(if this is a Mobileye 5 analog installation)

Click on “Next” to initiateconnection

Please verify all relevant systeminformation is shown and click “Next” to continue.

Click on “Signal test & config ” to skip Calibration and jump directly to Signal Test & configuration slide

Click “Restore system defaults”if you whish to reset the system configurations (in case the system waspreviously installed on a different vehicle)

Click “Try again” ifInformation fails to appear.

Enhancement–box (E-box)

When installing a Mobileye 5 system using the Mobileye E-box make sure to:

Connect E-box to Mobileye system and confirm the E-box has been recognized(indicated by a V in the Enhancement–box check box).

Select your “Country”

Select the “Measurement system”

Select the “Speed format”

Select the “Road driving side”

Note: Confirm “SLI detected locals” matches the speed sign type and the Speed unit (km/h or mph) of the selected Country

Use the vertical grid lines to properly attach the camera to the windshield, verifying it is not rotated or tilted.

You can use the Red horizontal line if required. The Red line will appear only after inserting the camera height value.

Vehicle Information:

Enter the “Vehicle Chassis Num” (or license plate number)Enter the vehicle Details (manufacture, model, year)

Car Information will show automatically if a profile was chosen from vehicle Database.

If vehicle details are not in Database, click on Other to add the vehicle details.

Vehicle Measurements:

Enter the Camera height measurement (if not already entered)

Enter the “Distance to bumper” measurement

Enter the “Vehicle width” (Front wheel base)

Enter camera distance to left and right windshield edges

Use the cursor or the left hand side bar to locate the horizontal line at the car hood level (only if Car Hood is visible)

If there is no Car Hood, do not mark anything. Keep default Car hood value at -120)

If a vehicle profile was chosen from the “Vehicle Database”,it is possible to switch the signals source back to Analog (Only for C2 series or Mobileye 5 with E-box)

If all signals are available by Vehicle CAN-bus there is no need to choose the Signals Polarity (Option is disabled)

If connected to the vehicle’s Analog Speed Signal, enter the vss rate (vehicle Speed Signals)

Choose the polarity of the Analog signals (choose between High and Low

Choose Disabled if you did not connect to a specific signal

Choose the preferred Calibration method:

1. TAC - you will continue to “Camera Calibration” slide

2. Automatic Calibration – all configuration will be burned to the system and you will proceed to “Signal test & and configuration” slide (or to the Alerts configuration slide, if permitted)

TAC - Calibration

Locate the “TAC Target” exactly in the middle of the vehicle’s front bumper. For cars – close as possible to the front bumper.For trucks – 1 meter away from front bumper.

Click on “Calculate close TAC”

Close TAC Calibration

After clicking on Calculate Close TAC, you will see a black image for a few seconds.

When “Close TAC calculation” is completed, an image of the close target with red dots will appear and A pop-up message will ask you to move the TAC to the Far Position

Far TAC Calibration

Now, move the TAC Target to the Far position (1 meter away from the vehicle's front bumper) and only then:

- click “OK” on the message box

- click on “Calculate far TAC”

After clicking on Calculate Far TAC, you will see a black image for a few seconds.

1. After TAC calculation is complete, check the F.O.E and Camera height results according to the table below.

2. If all is OK, Click on “Burn Now”

Recommended Horizon values (FOE Y value) for different camera heights.Note – FOE Y values may differ by +/- “10” from recommended values.

The Alerts Configuration screen enables users to define the system settings (sensitivity values) and disable the system control buttons so drivers cannot modify the system settings.

If you choose not to change any system settings. Simply click “Next” to continue.

Please pay attention to the instructions Step 1 – check physical connection of all signals to the Mobileye system (either by CAN or analog).

- Signal is not detected by the system

- Signal detected by the system, but not activated.

- Signal detected and activated.

- Signal is disabled.

Step 2 –

Activate and verify each signal.

If any signal fails the activation test, or connection verification test, click Restart test to test again.

All signals must pass the test (Green V icon) in order to complete the installation process

Step 3 – Test drive

Drive and confirm speed indication in the Setup Wizard matches to the actual speed of the car. After completing speed test, Click “Next” button to finish the Calibration or enter the system into “Automatic Calibration” mode.

Note 1: If speed doesn’t match the real vehicle speed, change the VSS rate, and click “Burn now” (this is optional only when Speed Signal source is Analog).

When E-Box is connected a “E-Box out” button will appear.

Enhancement Box features:

2 additional independent configurable analog Outputs.

When IHC wire is not used for IHC, “IHC out” button will appear and will allow configuration of 1 analog output.

Choose the Alert Yype from the list and assign it to the relevant output by clicking Left or Right arrows.

Note:Up to 3 Alert Types can be assigned to each output.

Note:SLI Alert Type cannot be assigned with other Alert Types

Choose Alert Output Type:

ContinuousOutput will be active for as long as the alert is active

PatternedOutput can be configured according to user demands.

If you choose Alert Output Type: “Patterned” Choose the output Duration

Effective – Output will be active for as long as the Alert is active (On/Off)Or Choose to limit the Output Duration by choosing any of the time options in the list.

Using the options you can configure the output pattern duration (in milliseconds)

Use the “duplicate” button to copy the Alert Type to the second output option.Use the “move” button to move the Alert Type to the second output option.

What is Fix Speed:OBD II universal Speed signal acquisition (Speed by Request from OBD2 CAN-bus) without having to perform CAN sniffing.

o Works only when connected to the OBDII CAN-bus on a bus speed of 250kbs or 500kbs (and only Pins 6 & 14 in OBDII)

o Can be used when a vehicle has been chosen from the DB and the speed signal is not accurate or not working.

o Will not affect other signals receiving from the OBDII CAN-Bus.
