In my travels to a village in Emmaus Valley close to Lesotho, I visited their program for early childhood in a small one-room building. The Kwasi Zulu Natal University Children’s Education Partnership in Winton, South Africa sponsors this program. Classes started at 9am and ended at 12pm once a week. Each mother attends school with their child and continues teaching exercises at home.
