Each item’s product specification package will list all required labels as well as additional labeling specific to your product. The product specification package will also communicate the proper placement of each label type. The below guidelines are general guidelines the product specification package should always be followed.
APPROVED LABEL SUPPLIERS AND SOURCING
All Eddie Bauer Main Labels, Trademark(™), Care, Content, Country of Origin, Size, Specialty or Novelty labels are to be sourced from a pre-approved label supplier. Please see Reference section of this section for contact information. REQUIRED LABELS
The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Customs Service Regulations require correct labeling of products. It is imperative that each item is correctly labeled with regard to:
• Eddie Bauer Trademark Label • Country of Origin and Size Label • Content/Care Label • Vendor Identification Label
Some products may require additional labels such as the following:
• Stuffed Articles Label: Required in USA and Canada for stuffed insulated products. • Novelty Labels: Labels that call out special features such as fit or fabric attributes
