Payment is not required for these unless/until you are informed of availability. Hello and welcome to your new Summer programme. In the past quarter we have enjoyed some fantastic activities including the holiday for the over 30’s to

Cyprus where great fun was had by all. The excursions included participating in a jeep safari, a waterpark, trips to the beach and harbour, plus a fantastic boat trip. Now it’s time for the under 30’s who will be heading to Fuerteventura on the 3rd October.

As you may be aware Uniting Friends Radio has now gone live, this is brilliant progress for the team who work extremely hard to ensure that your voices are heard. More information including dates can be found on the Out There and In Control programme page or by looking on the webpage on Facebook.

Some of our evening members have again been attending our service on a Friday to participate in Spare Tyre theatre workshop. The members have made excellent progress and are producing some very imaginative and creative pieces of work.

Our network groups are now all up and running, however we still have room for a further group. If you are at all interested in joining a network group with the support of one of our fantastic staff team then please contact me to discuss this.

As you may be aware our team have increased recently to include support from our day staff Vicki and our volunteer Adam. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome them and thank them both for the hard work and continued support throughout their time with us.

During this quarter we have many amazing activities for you because as usual you have come up with some wonderful suggestions. We will be visiting the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to watch the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games as part of the National Paralympic Day. While there you will have the opportunity to see some of the famous Paralympian’s who participated in the 2012 Olympics. So without delay take a look inside your new programme!!!
