Step 3. Use your stencil to trace pattern onto the lining fabric (using a fabric pen). Then, reverse stencil and trace again onto lining fabric from the other stack. Make sure the two are mirrored.

Step 4. Quilt through all fabrics along the quilting pattern using decorative stitching to hold all layers together. Straight stitch along oven mitt trace line. Trim away excess fabric from outside of the stitching.

Step 5. Add bindings � fold and press fabric in half. Line up the raw edges on the right side of oven mitt. Straight stitch using a ¼� seam allowance. Then, flip binding over to the inside of the mitt and fuse permanently in place using ¼� Steam-A-Seam 2 tape.

Step 6. Lay the sets of fabric together with lining fabrics facing out. Stitch around all edges EXCEPT the cuff edge. Trim away excess fabric from edge.
