Network of the Elders Committees
• Village committees organize
– Awareness programmes to elders
– Medical clinics including screening for NCDs

• National Secretariat provides a sum of Rs. 5,000/= for an
elders committee as a capital for them to raise their funds,
• There are approximately 10,000 village level committees
already functioning with the active participation of elderly
people.
