Client | The Seven Atlantic (One of the world’s largest diving support vessels)

Problem | Corroded metallic pipework causing fouling & blockages, effecting the heating & cooling of the seawater supply to diver's suits. Composite replacement required.

Solution | Pipex px® Engineer performed 98 onboard 3D Laser scans offshore in the North Sea over 4 day timeframe to capture the route of corroded pipework spanning 6 decks Port & Starboard sides.

Scans amalgamated into one model and Isometrics produced at Pipex HQ.

Spool fabrication and testing conducted at PX factory.

PX specialist installation team attended onboard for 3 day, fast track, perfect fit installation
