*Dinosaur Project-Will be assigned next week. Here’s a preview. We are so excited to be embarking on a dinosaur adventure! Your child has chosen a dinosaur to research. He/She will be creating a Dinosaur diorama. This is your student's chance to show his/her creativity.  1.) Research your dinosaur and neatly write down 3 facts about it. Use pencil and check the spelling/grammar.2.) Cover a regular size shoe box with paper, paint, etc.  Design a realistic scene inside of the box to resemble your "Dinosaur World" using rocks, plants, leaves, etc. 3.) Include your dinosaur in the diorama. It can be in the form of a hand drawn dinosaur, a traced picture of the dinosaur, a handmade figurine of clay, or something other realistic dinosaur creation. Consult actual pictures of your chosen dinosaur as you research.4.) Glue the "3 dinosaur facts" paper on the back of the box. Label the box with your name. 5). Memorize your facts and practice presenting them to the class.

Dinosaur Dioramas are due on Thursday, April 19th. Have fun! Please remember that this is your child's project. Please review your child’s spelling, facts, and more with them as they will be presenting their project to the class. Facts must be memorized, not read, for presentations.
